Our Approach

A more thoughtful approach to weight and hormone care

At Valenza Health, treatment begins with your health history, symptoms, goals, and a licensed provider's evaluation. When prescription therapy is appropriate, we build it into a personalized plan with nutrition guidance, progress monitoring, body-composition support, and ongoing clinical oversight.

No one-size-fits-all protocols. No guaranteed prescriptions. No promises of a specific result—just individualized care designed to support meaningful, sustainable progress.

Lose weight thoughtfully. Protect what matters.

During weight reduction, Valenza emphasizes adequate protein and nutrient intake, hydration, resistance exercise, regular physical activity, and avoidance of unnecessarily rapid weight loss. Hormone therapy is evaluated separately and is never an automatic part of GLP-1/GIP care.

Razvan Ilie, FNP-BC, DC

Razvan Ilie, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with nearly 30 years in healthcare, specializing in medical weight management, hormone optimization, and metabolic health.

Since 2023 he has practiced exclusively in medically supervised weight loss and hormone therapy, serving as medical director of a wellness practice focused on both. His weight management work centers on advanced GLP-1 protocols, beginning with comprehensive metabolic and laboratory evaluation and building an individualized plan around body composition, insulin sensitivity, and long-term cardiometabolic risk rather than scale weight alone.

In hormone optimization, he provides laboratory-guided testosterone and hormone replacement therapy for men and women, with ongoing monitoring and dose adjustment throughout the course of treatment.

Razvan previously spent six years in family medicine, managing acute and chronic conditions including diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, and cardiovascular disease across a broad primary care panel. That foundation shapes how he treats patients today, addressing the underlying drivers of metabolic dysfunction and prescribing with attention to the full clinical picture.

He holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice and is board certified in family practice.
